Our next highlight: 3 days in Cambodia, exploring the temples around Angkor Wat. The temples were built between the 9-13th century, during the time of the Khmer empire. Angkor Wat is the most famous, but there are hundreds of others in the area, and thousands across Cambodia. The jungle is claiming some of them back (see below...)
